Different Reasons as to why men and women date

One day a lady friend asked me , "mr Love doctor, do men date for the same reason as we women?".
Although i knew of the answer, i decided to ask , "but why do women date".
Her answer was no different from what i had all along anticipated,in plain English she ansered "serious women will date because they want to feel emotionally attached to somebody ."

Men date for a host of many reason , and none of them neighbour anywhere near emotional attachment ,Infact this reasons are physical.
This reminds me of one friend of mine, in those hey day when i was still a student in the university.The university happened to be admitting new first years students, and as in previous years this year had its suprises .Which was marked by the arrival of extraodinary beauty in the name of Maggie.Each year the veterans, as we regarded ourselves would identify the hottest arrival and try to win her to our side ,this particular time it happened to be maggie.The winner of this contest would remain a hero untill the arrival of onother group.But does this explain any genuine love? yes it does.Reasons as to why men date are varied and very physical,men will date as a way of boosting their ego.
This was just an introduction, i intend to tackle this topic more deeply in the coming days.
